Feburary was such a fun month for the Green Machine! Lots of new wine tours have been created, which you can check out on the website. Also last month I took a fun group of people from Alternative Auto in Santa Rosa to see Bob Seger in Oakland, and we had a blast! I was inspired to add some new lighting to the van, which is being installed this week, so the Green Machine will glow wherever we go! Thank you to everyone for all of the ongoing support, your referrals are keeping me busy!

Barrel Tasting is drawing near

This year barrel tasting is extended to include the first two weekends of March! This is one of my favorite events because there is so much to learn about the winemaking process. The participating wineries show off all of their wines and break out samples from the barrel, offering future sales on cases at a discount. Most wineries pair wines with carefully selected foods to compliment each other. This is an event I haven’t missed in 10 years!

I am so excited to be finally getting this project underway! I’ve been watching stretch Hummers ooze down the streets of Healdsburg, competing with limos and locals for parking spaces, for the last eight years, wondering “Why doesn’t someone do something different?” After a while I realized that someone was me. We are lucky to live in a area populated with one of the most progressive, conscious, green mindsets in our country, and yes!, we love wine! So Join me as I begin the adventure new, and come party with a green conscience.
